Our take
If you want more navigation capability than the inReach Messenger but still want something tiny and easy to carry, the Mini 2 hits a very good middle ground. It is especially well suited to remote touring, hiking, riding and as a backup communicator in a 4WD.
An active Garmin inReach satellite subscription is required for satellite messaging and SOS functions.
